Scott Graybeal is Senior Vice President, for Flex Energy Solutions at Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX). In his current role, Mr. Graybeal is responsible for Flex Energy Solutions. Under his leadership this market has grown in the last 2 years from US $350 million to become a US $1.5 billion business for Flex. He spearheaded the acquisition of NEXTracker, one of the largest solar equipment M&A deals for the solar industry in recent memory. Altogether, Mr. Graybeal has expanded global operations into new geographies including Asia and Latin America, and launched two new product lines within the Solar and Energy Storage portfolios.

Prior to joining Flex, Mr. Graybeal served as the head of business development at Intevac, where he led the company’s global sales team in the successful proliferation of disruptive solar cell manufacturing technologies in Europe and China. Prior to that, he was head of the Americas region for Oerlikon Solar where he was instrumental in helping to shape early solar policy development in Latin America and led global technical support, service operations and global strategic accounts at Veeco Instruments. Earlier in his career, he spent several years in positions of increasing responsibility at Applied Materials and GE.

Mr. Graybeal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He served in the United States Navy as a nuclear submarine officer.
