Monne Depraetere

Monne is the Lead Power Analyst in Bloomberg New Energy Finance's Europe, Middle East and Africa Division, where he specialises in market reform and power system modelling. His most recent work focuses on power system flexibility, identifying the challenges and business opportunities around the growing share of solar and wind generation in European power markets. He also provides regular analysis on capacity mechanisms. Monne joined BNEF from ExxonMobil’s downstream business and holds an MPA degree from Columbia University in New York.
