Michael J. Kormos

Mr. Kormos is responsible for all services that touch reliability, including system operations, system planning, information and technology services, security and regional coordination. In his role, Mr. Kormos oversees the reliable operation and coordination of PJM bulk power system through load estimating, scheduling monitoring and the developing as well as supporting the technological infrastructure to support the organization. Since 2011, Mr. Kormos has held the position of executive sponsor for the PJM Diversity and Inclusion Council.Mr. Kormos sits on the Board of Directors for the ReliabilityFirst Corporation, the Executive Committee of the Eastern Interconnection Planning Collaborative and the Industry Leaders Council for the Consortium for Electric Reliability Technology Solutions.Previously, Mr. Kormos was the vice president of System Operations and has served in various management and engineering positions in the Operations Division.
