Colleen Regan

Colleen Regan is a Senior Analyst focusing on North American power and environmental markets at Bloomberg New Energy Finance. She leads BNEF’s analysis on Environmental Protection Agency regulations and their impact on carbon emissions and electricity markets. Colleen is also responsible for forecasting carbon prices in regional cap-and-trade schemes, based on supply-demand fundamentals, policy developments, and market dynamics.

Prior to joining BNEF, Colleen researched climate-related finance for developing countries at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. She also worked at Credit Suisse AG, where she assisted hedge fund clients with capital raising.

Colleen has a BSc in International Political Economy from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and an MA in International Economics and Energy Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
