Americans in November 2016 will elect the next president and decide whether Republicans will continue to control both houses of Congress. The country’s new leadership will set the pace and agenda for implementing the Clean Power Plan and the Paris climate accord and determine the fate of key issues such as renewable energy incentives and carbon pricing.
